Curb appeal is one of the most important attractors to rental property. Everyone loves looking at a home with a nicely manicured lawn. You don't have to spend a fortune fixing up the yard but while your home is on the market, it is important to keep the lawn mowed (don't let the weeds grow), keep the shrubs trimmed, the edges sharp, and the beds mulched. A nicely trimmed home make a potential tenant think the home is well maintained, too. And, a tenant can expect that he will have to maintain the lawn in this same condition when he moves in.
